The game isn't perfect. It's slow progress that hangs expensive microtransactions in front of you saying it'll speed things up. Don't get me wrong, they do speed things up for a short while. But then everything slows down again. The best way to enjoy the game is to take it slow. Don't spend too long on the game, then come back a couple hours later when the idle rewards are in. Then play for a bit longer. You'll be able to enjoy the game then. Good luck, and stick to the plan.

As a player of years, I think the plot is interesting and unique. The player base is relatively active and the game updates banners regularly. Like any Gacha game, it kills a lot of free time. However to actually get through the story, it takes months of active gameplay so it really is a slow burn. Especially when saving up for pets will be an issue of your patience early on. And a 10x pull (guarantee 4★) costs $50... extremely overpriced. It takes a lot of my patience xd...

The ads they have you watch now make you go to the app store after watching them. Not terrible on their own, but awful when you don't get the rewards because you technically left the game. So you have to rewatch until it gives you an ad that doesn't make you leave the game. (You must watch an ad to start a new run) Had won a free skin and then got nothing. The game itself is fun, but it's the little things that build up to make the experience aggravating.
